"The status of Division 3ø redfish stock has been evaluated in previous years by the simple Shaefer general production model using catch and effort data. In 1978 the total allowable catch was set at 20,000 m tons, the same level as the previous year. This paper re-evaluates the stock using the same general production model but compares the old effort standard to a different standardizing method suggested by Robson (1966)"--Introduction.
