| 520 | |a"The 'Storm Rainfall in Canada' series was first published in 1961, seven years after "Hurricane Hazel" caused a severe flood in the vicinity of Toronto. This continuing publication was designed as a reference document for use when evaluating the risk of a large rainstorm causing flooding in the various Canadian watersheds. By April, 1975, approximately 900 storms had been analyzed and 448 of these storm analyses published.
