"A sanitary and bacteriological survey covering 60 kilometers of coastline between Scuttle Bay and Saltery Bay was conducted from November 3 to December 1, 1975 by personnel of the Environmental Protection Service, Pacific Region. The bacteriological survey was conducted to evaluate the quality of waters overlying shellfish beds in the survey area and more specifically to assess the adequacy of the present Schedule J shellfish closure extending from Scuttle Bay to Myrtle Point"--Abstract.
