"Water quality studies were conducted at the Equity Silver Mine in July 1982 and July 1983. During the 1982 study the mine was having difficulty controlling acid mine drainage. The 1982 results relative to 1983 indicate that during a period of poor acid mine drainage control the water quality of receiving streams is severely impacted upon"--Abstract, page i.
