"Preliminary data indicate that total 1982 salmon landings from the Miramichi commercial, Indian and recreational fishery were similar to 1981, and approximated 13,000 salmon and 19,000 grilse. Spawning escapement requirements for 1982 were estimated to be 13,400 salmon and 38,500 grilse"--Abstract.
