"The Environmental Protection Service has employed the PISCES IV three-man submersible since 1973 to visually determine the condition of the benthic habitat in the coastal water of British Columbia affected by some of the major industry sectors (i.e. Pulp mills, municipal discharge areas, mine and quarrie sites, and ocean dump-sites). This report catalogues all the existing information obtained on 128 dives (ie. observations, photographs, film clips, etc.) up to 1982"--Abstract, page i.
