"This document outlines the plan to execute an anthropometric survey of the Canadian Armed Forces. The survey will begin with the characterization of the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) and the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN). A stratified sampling approach will be used to develop a representative sample. Various data collection techniques will be utilized including the use of a full body 3-dimensional (3D) scanning, 3D head scanning, 3D foot and hand scanning, 2D photogrammetric analysis, and manual data measurement. This plan will be used as the basic approach for future anthropometric surveys of the Canadian Forces (CF)"--page 1.
