"The Market Basket Measure basket is comprised of five major components: food, clothing, transportation, shelter and other necessities. This discussion paper describes considerations for updating these five components and the changes to the methodology for calculating these five components. This discussion paper also provides an opportunity for feedback and comments to the proposed changes to the Market Basket Measure"--Page 3.
