Preliminary report on the adoption of television by native communities in the Canadian north : a comparative study / J. Hamer, J. Steinbring, K. Ho, Gary Granzberg, E. Monu, W. DeHaney.: Co24-422/1-1976E-PDF
"In this study we proposed to examine the impact of radio, telephone, and television on the predominantly Cree community of Norway House. As television was about to be introduced into this community we chose a second Cree community, Oxford House, as a control community, where there have been no plans to introduce this communication media. A third native community, Jackhead, which had adopted television three years prior to our study provided us with a further base line for comparison"--Introduction, page [1].
