"In partnership with the Centre for Ship Signature Management, DRDC developed a prototype signature management system (SMS) for real-time monitoring and management of ship signatures under the COSIMAR project. Using a network of onboard sensors and signature models, the system estimates the ship’s acoustic, magnetic, electric, infrared, radar, and pressure signatures, estimates the vulnerability of the platform to a library of threats, and makes suggestions to manage or reduce signatures"--Abstract, p. 18-1.
