"The LaHave River of southwestern Nova Scotia is an Atlantic Ocean coastal stream with Atlantic salmon spawning runs composed of more than eighty percent one-seawinter fish. A salmon development project initiated in 1968 has substantially increased natural production which has been reflected in increased recreational catches"--Abstract.
