Glossary of radiocommunications.Co22-7/1974E-PDF

"The purpose of this glossary is to provide the employees of the Department of Communications, especially engineers, electronic technicians, and all those concerned with radio, with a bilingual reference tool (English-French, French-English). Terms have been taken from departmental texts and Radio Inspectors Manuals; most of the definitions, from the International Electrotechnical Commission and the International Telecommunications Union (ITU). … The translations given here are not the only correct ones of course, but in general they are those adopted by the Department of Communications. There will be a second edition of this glossary, since scientific terminology grows rapidly and requires regular updating"--Foreword.
