Comparison of urban runoff simulations for actual and synthetic storms / by J. Marsalek.: En36-522/50-1977E-PDF

"Runoff hydrographs from nine urban test catchments of widely varying characteristics were simulated for two synthetic design storms as well as for a number of selected actual storms. The frequencies of occurrence of runoff events were determined and, for identical frequencies, the runoff peaks produced by both synthetic storms were compared to the peaks produced by actual storms"--Abstract, page i.
