Design excellence, a national objective : case histories = Excellence du design, objectif national : cas d'espèces.: Id44-11/2-1975-PDF
"What is the state of design in Canada today? One of the purposes of the assembly "Design Excellence - a National Objective" was to give some insight into that question and to stimulate greater awareness and understanding of the effective application of design. The case histories in this report and the discussions at the Assembly, indicate that the state of design in Canada is improving, that there is growing interest in the effective application of design and greater understanding of its management. However, it is also evident that social, economic and environmental problems, rapidly changing technological developments and world conditions are forcing us to find even better solutions before we can claim that we have achieved design excellence"--Introduction, page 3.
