"The major focus of this manual is the proper operation of CAPMoN precipitation sampling instrumentation and the proper handling of collected precipitation samples. All procedures described herein have been carefully designed to reduce the possibility of losing or contaminating precipitation samples. These procedures must be followed exactly in order to produce accurate and complete acid precipitation data"--Purpose and Scope of Manual.
