"This study was undertaken on behalf of the Northern River Basins Study (NRBS) to answer the question: who are the stakeholders and what are the consumptive and non-consumptive uses of water in the Peace, Athabasca and Slave river basins? This report answers this question and also describes some of the water management issues and concems of most importance to basin residents and stakeholders. The information contained in this report is based mainly on completed questionnaires from 718 basin households and from 183 of 602 stakeholder groups. The results of the surveys are summarized below for individual stakeholder groups"--Executive Summary.
