"Thirty-three water and effluent samples as well as six mud samples were collected from the central, southern and eastern part of the Ontario Great Lakes basin for mutagen and toxicity screening tests. Six samples had toxic activity and six samples indicated mutagenic activity in microbial tests. Summary of techniques and positive sites are presented"--Abstract.
