"Kluane National Park is a wilderness area located in the St. Elias Mountains of the southwestern Yukon Territory. The eastern boundary of the Park and the Park Headquarters near Haines Junction can be reached by the Alaska Highway from Whitehorse or by the Heines Road from Haines, Alaska. However, most of the Park is relatively inaccessible due to very rugged topography and often inhospitable conditions"--Introduction.
