"This report summarizes the work performed by Spar Aerospace Products Ltd. for the Department of Communications (DOC) under contract to the Department of Supply & Services, to determine the difference between the Space Shuttle and Thor Delta induced payload environments. The objective of this study, entitled, "Phase A Space Shuttle/Thor Delta Environment Comparison and Review of Recent STS Developments", is to provide a continuation of the initial Space Transportation System study performed by Spar for DOC/DSS (Reference SPAR-R.717) to assess the impact of the STS on future Canadian space programs"--Introduction, page 1.
