Telidon system study : 1st interim report / prepared by K.W. Moreland, R.K. Tiedemann.: Co24-529/1-1984E-PDF

"The primary purpose of this interim report is the development of the complex baseband equivalent model for teletext systems. The report also covers the topic of channel validation and the development of a theoretical propagation model to-be used to gain insight into the nature of the VHF multipath channel. The contents of this report are two technical memoranda. The first memorandum, entitled "Baseband Model For Teletext Systems And Extracting Information For Channel Validation", discusses the baseband equivalent model of a typical TV Broadcast system and the extraction of channel information for validation of the RF channel model. The second memorandum, entitled "Telidon RF Propagation Model", describes the fundamentals of a theoretical propagation model that could be used to investigate the characteristics of various multipath environments"--Introduction, page 1.
