"This report presents the results of the evaluation of the EcoAction Community Funding Program, conducted by Environment Canada’s (EC’s) Audit and Evaluation Branch between March and September 2013. The purpose of this evaluation was to assess the relevance and performance of the EcoAction program. The EcoAction Community Funding Program is a Grants and Contributions (G&Cs) program, providing contributions to community-based, non-profit organizations to initiate community-based projects that will protect, rehabilitate or enhance the natural environment and build the capacity of communities to sustain these activities into the future"--Executive summary, page 1.
