"The primary objective of the research was to provide national influenza immunization coverage estimates, and in particular, estimates of seasonal vaccine uptake in three community-dwelling (non-institutionalized) groups: adults 18-64 years of age; adults 65 years of age and older; and adults with a chronic medical condition. Secondary research objectives include: measure Canadians' awareness, knowledge, attitudes, and beliefs towards vaccines, determine reasons for non-vaccination, determine where people get vaccinated, and identify factors associated with vaccine uptake"--Summary, page 4.
