"The following collection of photographs of past Deputy Ministers of the Department of Industry (Industry Canada) and its predecessor departments has been assembled by employees of the department. In addition to Deputy Ministers appointed to head Industry Canada since its creation in 1993-95, the list includes Deputy Ministers of former, directly antecedent, departments including (in chronological order) the Departments of Trade and Commerce; Industry Trade and Commerce; Regional Industrial Expansion and Industry, Science and Technology. Also included in this album are Deputy Ministers of the first Department of Industry which was created in 1964 and merged with the Department of Trade and Commerce in 1968."
