"CNVC00012 are coniferous forest communities that occur on nutrient-poor, coarse sandy or skeletal soils in wet, submaritime climates of coastal British Columbia. These sites occur at elevations up to approximately 1000 mASL on the eastern slopes of the central Coast Mountains and in the Hazelton Mountains. Western hemlock (Tsuga heterophylla ) dominates the overstory"--Page 1.
