"CNVC00122 is a boreal coniferous forest Association that occurs in Alberta. It has a moderately closed canopy dominated by lodgepole pine (Pinus contorta) and a relatively species rich understory. The shrub layer varies from moderately to well developed and typically includes squashberry (Viburnum edule) and prickly rose (Rosa acicularis), although green alder (Alnus viridis) can be abundant when present"--Page 1.
