"This independent limited assurance report was prepared by the Office of the Auditor General of Canada on the contribution of departmental sustainable development strategies to Goal 13 of the 2016-2019 Federal Sustainable Development Strategy: safe and healthy communities. Our responsibility was to provide objective information, advice, and assurance to assist Parliament in its scrutiny of the government's management of resources and programs, and to conclude on whether the departmental sustainable development strategies complied in all significant respects with the applicable criteria. … The objective of this review was to determine whether departments and agencies contributed to meeting the goal of safe and healthy communities in the 2016-2019 Federal Sustainable Development Strategy"--About the review, page 12.
