"A survey of moulting Canada geese was conducted from 23-28 July, 1984. The objectives of the study were: 1) to determine the distribution and abundance of moulting Canada geese in the vicinity of Bathurst Inlet and along the Hood, James, Burnside, Western, Huikitak, Ellice, and Back rivers, 2) to evaluate the importance of Key Habitat Sites in the study area, 3) to determine the subspecific composition of the moulting flocks, and 4) to record ancillary information on other wildlife in the study area"--Abstract.
