Review of CORCAN construction contracts : internal audit.: PS84-91/2010E-PDF

"The review of CORCAN construction contracts was conducted as part of Correctional Service Canada’s (CSC) Internal Audit Branch (IAB) 2009-2010 Audit Plan. This review was deemed necessary due to a series of events. In May 2008, the Office of the Procurement Ombudsman (OPO) was contacted by a supplier who made allegations of irregularities pertaining to a specific CORCAN contract award. In his 2008-2009 Annual Report (Chapter 5) the Procurement Ombudsman reported on the results of the review and made a recommendation that CSC Internal Audit review CORCAN construction contracts nationally"--Executive Summary, page 4.
