"This report analyzes and discusses polar bear distribution and habitat data that were collected from October 1970 through May 1979 during population ecology studies in the Western Canadian Arctic. Most of the data were collected between mid March and the end of May of each year. However, some data collected during the summer and fall are also used"--Summary, page 1.
