"French speakers who work in the agriculture and agri‑food industries of Western Canada and the territories have unique characteristics and specific needs as an official language minority. This report provides an overview of farms whose main operator is French‑speaking and of French‑speaking workers in the agriculture and agri‑food industries. It shows how the social, economic and linguistic profile of these workers changed between 2006 and 2016, for Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia (Western Canadian provinces), as well as for Yukon, the Northwest Territories and Nunavut (the territories). It is a follow‑up to the "Portrait of French‑language workers in Western Canada’s agriculture and agri‑food industries" published in 2017"--Introduction, page, 6.
