(SOURCES) to conduct a Traditional Knowledge and Use Study (TKUS) for the Scott Islands Marine Area. Environment Canada is drafting a proposal to create a marine National Wildlife Area (MNWA) under the Canada Wildlife Act for the Scott Islands Marine Area. As part of this process SOURCES conducted interviews, literature reviews, and archival research to provide CWS with traditional knowledge and use data. CWS will combine this traditional knowledge and use information with the scientific data to formulate the boundary of the proposed Scott Islands MNWA"--Introduction, page 1.
