Pollutants in British Columbia's marine environment : a status report / B.H. Kay.: En1-11/89-1E-PDF
"The quality of the marine environment in British Columbia has become an issue of concern. The goal of this project was to answer two questions: • What is the current status of pollutants in the marine environment in British Columbia? • Has the quality of the marine environment improved or deteriorated since the early 1960s? This report answers the first question by summarizing data on the sources and levels of pollutants in the marine environment, as well as the environmental impacts of these contaminants. Our ability to answer the second question is limited by the lack of long-term studies on the marine environment"--Preface.
