Special reviews of pymetrozine and its associated end-use products : consultation document.: H113-30/2020-4E-PDF

"Pursuant to subsection 17(2) of the Pest Control Products Act (PCPA), Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) initiated a special review of pymetrozine in 2015 (Canada, 2015) based on the 2014 Norway regulatory decision to prohibit all uses of pymetrozine (Rotterdam Convention 2014). The aspect of concern for the special review under subsection 17(2) is relevant to human health (potential carcionogenicity of pymetrozine)"--Introduction, page 1.
