The discontinuities are typical of those arising in coaxial cables as a result of the manufacturing process. Errors arising from mismatches in the source and terminating impedances are also calculated. The results indicate that errors in phase up to several degrees are possible in the CRC High Frequency Direction Finding array, due to such imperfections.
