"The Task Force on Cleaner Vehicles and Fuels of the Canadian Council of Ministers of the Environment commissioned several studies to assist in evaluating the feasibility of various air quality improvement options. Other studies commissioned by the Task Force have provided estimates of the production costs associated with meeting tighter vehicle emission and reformulated fuel standards, and the health and environmental benefits associated with those standards. This report builds upon those studies to determine the impacts on various stakeholder groups -- individuals, industry, government -- as well as the environment"--Executive Summary.
