Prediction of attitude motion of ISIS satellites / by F.R. Vigneron, D. Harrison, F. Yip and G.G. Bower.: Co24-3/7-1226-1972E-PDF
"A mathematical model based on an "averaging" technique is developed for the prediction of attitude motion and spin rate of ISIS-I or ISIS-II under the action of the magnetic torquing control system. The derived motion equations are solved numerically on a digital computer. The model is verified by comparison with flight data of the ISIS-I for all modes of operation. In addition, two malfunctions of the control system are demonstrated"--Abstract, page 1.
