Review of propagation in the 470-890 MHz band with emphasis on land mobile and cellular systems / by F.H. Palmer.: Co24-3/7-1288-1976E-PDF

"This report is the result of a review of the literature on the subject of VHF-UHF radiowave propagation in urban environments. Path-loss and its variance, multipath effects including delay and doppler-spreads, and building penetration are discussed. Available results are related to the problems of vehicle position monitoring and coverage-pattern requirements encountered in cellular communication systems. Approximately one hundred of the most relevant papers written prior to June 1975 were reviewed for inclusion in this report"--Abstract.
