"This report is the result of a review of the literature on the subject of VHF-UHF radiowave propagation in urban environments. Path-loss and its variance, multipath effects including delay and doppler-spreads, and building penetration are discussed. Available results are related to the problems of vehicle position monitoring and coverage-pattern requirements encountered in cellular communication systems. Approximately one hundred of the most relevant papers written prior to June 1975 were reviewed for inclusion in this report"--Abstract.
