Wetland assessment for waterfowl productivity and habitat protection - trial summer, June 1 - Aug. 14 1987 / Etta Hudgins.: CW66-720/1988E-PDF
"The completion of the Nova Scotia Wetlands Inventory in 1984 and its subsequent use as a waterfowl productivity indicator pointed out the need to find factors other than the score which could act as a measure of waterfowl productivity. Therefore, a trial study of 14 sites was initiated during the summer of 1987 to more closely examine each wetland's features. In the event that the wetland features which compose the inventory score were inadequate, additional data were also collected. The study primarily served as a measure of the feasibility of carrying out such work on a provincewide basis in future"--Abstract, page viii.
