Resistance of Beauharnois canal in winter / by G. Tsang.: En37-144/1980E-PDF
"In this paper, the change of the hydraulic resistance of the Beauharnois Canal as it changes progressively from an open channel to an ice covered flow will be studied. The effect of frazil presence on the resistance of the canal will also be investigated. The aim of the study is to see what factors affect the resistance of a natural river in winter, and the quantitative effects of these factors"--Introduction.
