Dominion monetary policy, 1929-1934 : a study prepared for the Royal Commission on Dominion-Provincial Relations / by F.A. Knox.: Z1-1937/2-41-16E-PDF
"The purpose of this study is to give a detailed account of the development of the monetary policy which Canada followed in this period as a background for consideration of the relationship between federal monetary policy, regional incomes, and provincial finances. Particular attention is given to the contention that an alternative policy of deliberate depreciation would have alleviated conditions in the exporting regions with corresponding benefit to the public finances of the provinces concerned"--Editorial Foreword.
