"This report is part of the Environmental Studies Research Fund Project 2014-02S final deliverables. The overall project objectives were to provide new results that will inform future environmental assessments of human activities on Canada’s East Coast. The project was broken into two major programs: 1) measuring the existing soundscape and the presence of vocalizing marine life; and 2) understanding the effects of the acoustic footprint of seismic surveys in the study area"--Executive summary, page 1.
