"Information on the extent and results of psychiatric care is essential for evaluation and planning. In order to obtain such information for Canada, this project was initiated by the Royal Commission on Health Services. This study gives an epidemiologic perspective. The organization of psychiatric services is discussed in the study, Trends in Psychiatric Care, by Professor D. G. McKerracher"--Preface.
