"A number of statistical techniques applied to the St. Mary River water quality data indicate a significant difference between data sets for year 1975 and 1980 through 1982. These differences are very evident in thefrequency distributions of each variable. A definite change inconcentrations of phosphorus, fluoride and silicate is noted between 1975 and the years 1980-82 which corresponds to the start-up of the wastewater treatment facility at Cominco's Kimberly operation"--Abstract.
