"Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) conducts a review and assessment of softshell clam stocks in Québec every three years. The most recent review was held on February 25, 2020, in Mont-Joli, Québec. This document presents the data, techniques, analyses, and findings of this resource assessment following the 2019 fishing season, in support of the Science Advisory Report. Although some of the results of the surveys conducted from 2016 to 2019 are presented here, a second research document will describe all these survey results in detail"--Introduction, page 1.
