This catch represented 22% of the total catch of Arctic charr from the Nain Fishing Region in 1987. Landings were 28% higher than in 1986, while effort increased by 23%. Likelihood ratio statistics were used to examine temporal variation in the size composition of the catches from 1980 to 1987.
