"This study describes a stock-recruit relationship for multi-sea-winter (MSW) salmon from the Margaree River, derived using estimates of returns based on angling and commercial catches for the years 1947 to 1992. Since 1947, escapements and returns of salmon to the Margaree River have varied by more than 10-fold. The Ricker model provided the best fit of four models examined"--Abstract, page 2.
