"Under the authority of the Pest Control Products Act, Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA) is proposing to establish maximum residue limits (MRLs) for thiabendazole on bananas, mangoes and papayas to permit the import and sale of foods containing such residues. Thiabendazole is a fungicide currently registered in Canada for use as a postharvest treatment of pome fruits and as a seed treatment for soybean, corn, dry beans and peas, chickpeas, and lentils"--Page 1.
