The strategic regional development overviews : a critical examination and suggestions / by François Lacasse.: RE22-45/1981E-PDF

"The Strategic Regional Development Overviews (SRDOs) were first tabled by the Honourable Pierre De Bané in the spring of 1980. At the time they constituted a new way of reporting to Parliament on the Department's policies, analyses and forecasts, both by region and for the whole of the country. The purpose of this document is to examine these overviews and suggest improvements, in terms of both the information role they can play for MPs and their contribution to the planning of federal policies in the area of regional development"--page 1.
