"In November and December of 2020, the Subcommittee on International Human Rights of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development (Subcommittee) studied the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on displaced persons, with a focus on Rohingya refugees and Venezuelan migrants and refugees. During this time, it held three meetings and heard from 14 witnesses with intimate knowledge of the situation of refugees and displaced persons from Venezuelan or Myanmar both before and during the outbreak of COVID-19"--Executive summary, page 5.
