Evaluation of the Chairs for Women in Science and Engineering program.: NS3-90/1-2021E-PDF ; NS3-90/2-2021E-PDF

"In 2020, the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) proceeded with the evaluation of its Chairs for Women in Science and Engineering (CWSE) program. This document presents the findings that emerged from this process, including recommendations to be considered for the ongoing management of the program. This was the first evaluation to be conducted since Dr. Monique Frize was selected as the first Chair in 1989. As such, the evaluation process provided an opportunity to reflect on the overall relevance of the program, the lessons learned from the experience of the 18 women who have thus far been selected as chairholders, and identify any opportunities for improvement as applicable"--Introduction, page 5.
